"Why I live at Country Lakes Village. The labor day weekend marked 18 years since moving here and I've enjoyed my stay in in this community. The operative word here is 'community' since this is a place where neighbors care about neighbors and everyone looks out for every one else. The love and support on my friends and neighbors has been sustaining in my bad days and uplifting in the good days."

"We have been living in CLV 1 for two years and what first attracted us to this particular place was the residents and the sense of community and caring for one another. Also, there is a wide and varied list of monthly and weekly activities - golf, dine outs, socials, etc all year round. There is a large heated pool for exercise class or just socializing and a wonderful library for playing cards or just quiet time. We are happy that we chose CLV! to be our home."

"Country Lakes is a beautiful and friendly place to live, away from the crowds and congestion, yet close to Sarasota, St. Pete, and Tampa. As an artist I appreciate the area's open spaces, turquoise skies and sparkling colors. There are palm trees, tropical flowers, herons and egrets outside my front door. The swimming pool, hot tub and community clubhouse area short walk away. Enjoying life seems to the order of the day, there are lots of chances to get together; The residents never pass without a wave and a greeting. Even though I've been here for a relatively short time, I have never felt as happy or "at home" anywhere. I'm looking forward to living the good life, Country Lakes style, for many years to come."
